BVA Development would like the city of Boise to annex and rezone 120 acres at address 6259 Pleasant Valley Road. The property would be rezoned to M-1D (99.7 acres light industrial) and C-1D (commercial, 16.7 acres).

The property is east of the future Lake Hazel and Orchard intersection, where Lake Hazel current has a 90 degree curve. The address is listed as Pleasant Valley, however the proposed annexation does not abut Pleasant Valley

Outdoor Storage at 6812 Victory

Eldin Alispahic is seeking a condition use permit for truck and trailer parking on 1.75 acres at 6812 Victory, in a M-1D zone.

The property is between Beverly and Fry, on the north side of Victory.

Search CUP21-00021 at https://permits.cityofboise.org/ for details.  The site plan on record at the city looks like a copy of a fax of a copy of something that at one time was legible. But is does look like the storage will be in the “back yard”, and not immediately adjacent to Victory or Fry

ACHD and Traffic Congestion

At the monthly neighborhood association meeting, the topic came up about the congestion on Lake Hazel near Maple Grove, and on Cole at I84.

I did some research, here is a page (presumably based on ACHD data) https://compassidaho.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=71e65c1e51bb4587a5592b343d18579e. It is two years old, it shows congestion at Cole and I84. Lake Hazel is green from Cole to Nampa.

The property is located at where Saturn and Targee would intersect if Saturn is extended south and Targee is extended east. I assume the project includes these road extensions. The property is zoned M-1D, light industrial.
